Good students are the studious, serious-minded, hard-working ones whose grades lag behind their capabilities and efforts. These students enter college with strong academic backgrounds and high hopes for success in college. They exhibit solid work ethics once enrolled, yet their sincerest efforts produce only mediocre grades. At this workshop, you'll learn why this is, and some methods for helping these students transform into "Great Learners," by promoting metacognitive learning strategies and helping students incorporate them into their study regimens.
